A review of crop production factors that that influence growth of mold diseases and production of mycotoxins in haycrop and corn forages and strategies minimize their prevalence in the field and manage mycotoxins in rations.
2:00 – 2:45 PM–Fungal Disease Prevalence and Control in Corn and Soybeans At-planting and Late-season

A look at common fungal diseases in corn and soybean in NYS and options and effectiveness of fungal disease prevention using systemic fungicides applied at planting or topical fungicides applied late in the season.
2:50 – 3:30 PM - Status of Herbicide Resistant Weeds in NY and Late-season Annual grass control in corn and soybeans

Recertification Course Certificate Control Procedure:
The course certificates will be filled out by participants seeking credits at the start of the meeting and held by the organizer during the meeting. Only those participants that have been present for the duration of the meeting will sign the course roster at the end of the meeting and have their certificate returned to them.
