Horticulture Volunteer

Interested in becoming a horticulture volunteer?

Whether you're an experienced gardener or just getting started our horticulture volunteer program offers a great way to learn, connect, and give back to your community.

What do Horticulture Volunteers do? Volunteers support a variety of horticulture projects and programs:

  • Assisting with 4-H Camp Garden Program
  • Helping establish and maintain demonstration gardens
  • Support community gardens
  • Assisting with planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and seasonal garden maintenance. 
  • Volunteering alongside CCE staff and Master Gardeners on hands on projects

Why Volunteer?

Who can join?

We welcome volunteers of all experience levels! All you need is an interest in plants and gardening, and a willingness to learn.
