Community Subscription Solar

Youth groups (middle school +) like 4-H, Scouts and camps can earn funding by promoting community solar through a CCE program funded by NYSERDA. After a short lesson on solar energy, students share information with adults in their lives and encourage subscriptions, helping save money and support clean energy while earning funds. Participating clubs, classes or scout troops can earn up to $1,275 for eco-projects and may earn a patch.
