This article published in the Cornell Chronicles highlights a study where the CCE Ag team, along with researchers from Cornell University's Integrated Pest Management team worked with several NYS farms to study the environmental impact insecticides added to cattle feed to kill flies has on the dung beetle populations. The researchers also shared alternative strategies to control pest species, such as using walk-through fly traps, providing shelter, and recruiting poultry to eat fly larvae.
