Cornell Cooperative Extension of Delaware County will be sponsoring two farmers’ markets for the 2019 season in Walton and Deposit, NY.  These markets have been established for the convenience of all local residents and participants in the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) through WIC and Delaware County Office for the Aging.  In addition to cash sales, WIC clients and income eligible senior citizens may redeem their farmers’ market nutrition program coupons at these local markets. Fruit & Vegetable Prescription Program (FVRx) bucks can also be redeemed at these markets.

At this year’s 2-day Youth Summit, students will learn about climate change and leading climate actions in their school and community.  Workshops and activities focus on 4 tracks: Recycling, Water, Science and Earth.
