Ballantine Park – Andes
Beautiful park designed by George Ballantine and maintained by volunteers. Enjoy walking alongside the scenic Tremperskill Stream and wander through the ruins of an early mill that was powered by the stream. Benches and stone sculptures add to the enjoyment. 0.4 miles
Palmer Hill – Andes
Partway to Homestead Intersection.
Walk out the first quarter mile of the Palmer Hill Trail, starting at the scenic overlook. Look at the distant peaks of the Catskill Park as you do this flat portion of the Trail. 0.5 miles Click here for Map

Delhi Covered Bridge Run 5K course
Start on the corner of Elm and Main Streets (by the bagel shop). Walk west on State Highway 10 past price chopper, turn left on Sherwoods Road, Left on Arbor Hill Road, Left on State Highway 28 past the hospital, Straight to Delaware Ave, left on Bridge street and Left on Main Street. Finish in front of the Delhi Telephone Company. (3.2 miles) Moderate level, few sidewalks.
SUNY Delhi Loop
Start on Main Street at Tractor Supply. Head west toward SUNY Delhi and walk in Main Entrance. Continue up the driveway and turn at the first right. This will loop around and once you have walked down a slight hill you will then come to a ‘T.” Take a left and walk downhill until you come to another ‘T.’ Take another left, this will bring you back to the main entrance and return to your starting point. 1.8 miles
Fleischmanns – All walks start at the entrance of the Village Ball Park
Start at the entrance of the Village Ball Park and walk down Wagner Avenue to the intersection of Depot Street. Turn around and walk back to the starting point. This is a very flat easy walk with no hills. The Street is paved and has lights so it can also be walked in the evenings. It is also favorite walk for many during the summer. 0.6 mile
Start at the starting point and now you have a choice
Choice B – Turn right and begin your walk with a brisk walk up a hill and then down a short hill. Turn around at Main Street and hike back up the hill and proceed past the starting point to the end of Wagner Avenue to the junction of Depot Street. This is a nice long flat walk and a great way to cool down after walking up and down the hills. Turn around at Depot Street and proceed back to the starting point. 1.4 miles
From the starting point proceed down Wagner Avenue to Depot Street and turn right. Proceed across the bridge and turn left onto Old Route 28. This is a quiet walk near the stream (although there is some traffic it is supposed to be a 30 mph zone) with rolling small hills. Proceed to the cemetery and enter either the upper or the lower road of the cemetery. Loop through the cemetery and proceed back to the starting point. 1.7 miles
From the starting point turn left and proceed up to Wagner Avenue to Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and walk down Main Street, past Depot Street, to Grocholl Road and turn into the Cemetery. Loop through the Cemetery and turn left onto Old Route 28. Walk for .5 miles and turn on to Depot Street and then turn left onto Wagner Avenue back o the starting point. This is a long walk with some hills. 2.5 miles
Village Walk – Margaretville
More of a hilly walk. Start at the pavilion behind Fresh Town and walk towards Route 30. Turn right and walk until you come to Cemetery Road, continue on Cemetery Road until you meet the intersection of Searles Road walk back to the pavilion. 1.7 miles
Country Route Walk – Margaretville
This mix of small hills and flat terrain starts at Margaretville Central School. Head west on Country route 3 (past the post office) until you reach Hall Road. Turn around and walk back to MCS. Please note that this walk does have some blind corners, so watch for traffic. 2 miles
Kennedy Heights Walk – Margaretville
Start at Margaretville Central School’s back parking lot and walk up Swart Street to Walnut Street. Turn right and take the first left on to Church Street and continue all the way up to Upper Kennedy Heights. Take Upper Kennedy height up to the top until the macadam roads end- turn around and return to MCS. This walk starts out level but soon becomes a steep hill. 1.2 miles
